Elise Schaap is a renowned Dutch actress whose performances have captivated audiences in both movies and television series alike. Starring in the hit Dutch-Belgian Netflix franchise Undercover (2019-2022), Ferry (2021), and Ferry: De Serie (2023) she took on a leading role that earned her international recognition.

Elise earned a Dutch Academy Award nomination (Golden Calf) for Best Actress for her lead role in Antoinette Beumer’s feature Mijn Vader is een Vliegtuig (2021), the opening film of the Netherlands Film Festival.
Her most recent work includes the psychological thriller Faithfully Yours (2022) starring Bracha van Doesburgh, Nasrdin Dchar and Gijs Naber, box office hit Hotel Sinestra (2022) next to Jeroen Spitzenberger, and Netflix’ Stromboli (2022) where she plays the lead opposite the phenomenal Tim McInnerny (Nothing Hill), Anna Chancellor (The Crown) and Christian Hillborg (Young Royals). Elise wrapped shooting De Z van Zussen which she also creative produced with Jelle de Jonge and Bracha van Doesburgh. The film will hit theaters in 2024.
Elise soared to fame with her feature film debut Bride Flight (2008). She continued her success with Le Ragazze dello Swing (2010), the star-studded Jackie (2012) with Carice van Houten (Game of Thrones), Ja Ik Wil (2015) and Wat is dan Liefde (2019).
Elise is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to television – as an experienced comedienne she has starred in five seasons of Familie Kruys (2015-2019) and two seasons of Soof: Een Nieuw Begin (2017-2018). Her talent and experience have earned her a reputation as one of the most renowned television stars out there. In 2019, 2020 and 2021, Elise's stellar acting performances were rewarded with the Televizier Star for Best Actor.
