Bracha is a celebrated leading actress, gracing the screens of the Netherlands and beyond. She has captivated audiences with her role in the British-Dutch film The Domino Effect (2012), her electrifying performance in the Dutch romantic comedy hit Hartenstraat (2014) and her charming portrayal of Sophie in the delightful German tv-movie Verliebt in Amsterdam (2017). A multi-talented artist, and an accomplished comedienne.
Bracha van Doesburgh
Bracha featured as a series regular on a number of shows, such as Fabie in Oogappels (2019-), Eva in four seasons of Nieuwe Buren (2014-2019) co-starring Anna Drijver and Benja Bruijning, and S1ngle (2008-2010). Additionally, she starred in leading roles in the TV-series Bagels & Bubbels (2015), Johan - Logisch is Anders (2014), in which she played Danny Cruijff about the life of Johan Cruijff, the German crime-series Der Amsterdam Krimi (2020), and the highly anticipated Videoland series Adem in Adem uit (2021).
On the big screen Bracha received critical acclaim for her leading roles in a variety of films, among them Faithfully Yours (2022), the Christmas Netflix-franchise De Familie Claus (2019-2022) and the hit comedies Doris (2018) and All You Need is Love (2018). She began her career with a bang, starring in Martin Koolhoven’s successful feature Het Schnitzelparadijs (2005), the black comedy Moordwijven (2007) by Dick Maas and Robert Jan Westdijk’s gripping adaptation of Saskia Noort’s thriller De Eetclub (2010).
Bracha wrapped shooting De Z van Zussen which she also creative produced with Jelle de Jonge and Elise Schaap. The film will hit theaters in 2024.
Following her graduation from the Amsterdam Theatre Academy, Bracha joined the renowned Het Nationale Toneel theatre. Her performances in The Importance of being Ernest, Closer and A Midsummer Night’s Dream were met with glowing reviews.
Bracha and Daan Schuurmans founded Wolfi Pictures, a storytelling production company that creates strong and authentic drama for both film and television.
