Pieter Embrechts is a Belgian jack-of-all-trades; acting, directing, writing, presenting, singing and songwriting are just a few of his many talents. With the help of Jan Decleir, Embrechts has honed these skills to become an unparalleled master of the craft.

He has been a shining light in the world of film, starring in De Droom van de Jeugd (2023) which screened at Canneseries 2023, in Netflix Stomboli (2022) alongside Elise Schaap, Instinct (2019) by Halina Reijn opposite Carice van Houten, Redbad (2018) with Gijs Naber, as well as Dutch TV-series Familie Kruys (2017-2018) and Smeris (2015). In Belgium, he starred in a variety of films, such as Wij (2018) by Rene Eller and Wolf (2010) and the TV-series Wolven (2012-2013) and De Rodenburgs (2009-2011).
Embrechts played the role of 'Valentine' in David Bowie's theater play Lazarus (2019), for which he won the Musical Award for Best Actor in a Lead Role. Pieter played with large theater companies in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium and he spent years at home in Het Paleis where he made various performances with, among others, De Kakkewieten and his well-known fellow actor Dimitri Leue.
This multi-talented actor finds his way in not only television, theater and movies but has also proved to be an excellent writer and director for big theater and TV-productions like Sunjata (winner of 3 Musical Awards in Belgium in the categories Best Musical, Best Script and Best Content), Man over Woord, W@=D@= and several theater plays. Pieters voice has also been used in many animated movies such as: Tarzan, Flushed Away, Ice Age, Kung Fu Panda and others.
Pieter is also a great musician and songwriter, writing many songs for charity organizations that are important to him, such as Unicef, WWF, Kom op tegen kanker and Fairtrade Belgium, for which he has been an ambassador for years.
