Kendrick Etmon is a dynamic actor who graduated in 2019 from one of Europe’s finest theatre academies, the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Maastricht. He played the lead role in the Dutch Academy Award–winning (Golden Calf) short film La Última Asensión (2022) by Kevin Osepa, and was nominated for a Golden Calf for Best Leading Role for his performance in the short film Hobi (2025).

Etmon stars in the critically-acclaimed crime series Stanley H. (2019), directed by Tim Oliehoek and alongside Jeroen Spitzenberger. Continuing his success, Etmon was cast in the Dutch remake of NBC’s This Is Us, Dit Zijn Wij (2019-2020), directed by Marc de Cloe and André van Duren, he played the lead role of Ricardo in Bad Influencer (2019), starred in Forever Rich (2021) directed by Shady El-Hamus and co-starring Jonas Smulders and Crypto Boy (2023), another Shady El-Hamus’ Netflix feature.
Recently, Kendrick was featured in the short Trauma Porn Club (2024), directed by Michael Middelkoop. He also portrays a leading role the television series Rotown (2024), directed by Fadua El Akchaoui. Additionally, Kendrick played supporting roles in the Netflix film Ferry 2 (2024) and De Break-up Club (2024).
Next up is the highly anticipated second season of Bodem, written and directed by Eva Crutzen. The first season won a Dutch Academy Award (Golden Calf) in 2024 and Kendrick takes on the most prominent new role in the series. Land van Johan is another upcoming Dutch film directed by Eddy Terstall. The story follows three families, from Limburg, the Veluwe, and Morocco, whose lives intertwine in vibrant 1960s and 1970s Amsterdam, reflecting the social and cultural transformations of the Netherlands. Also, Kendrick is cast in the promising feature film PAAZ, starring alongside Gaite Jansen and Jonas Smulders.
Kendrick played in numerous plays at Toneelgroep Oostpool, like the award-winning play Allemaal Mensen and All Over: Acts of Love.
