Kendrick Etmon

Kendrick Etmon is a dynamic actor who graduated in 2019 from one of Europe’s finest theatre academies, the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Maastricht. He played the lead role in the Dutch Academy Award–winning (Golden Calf) short film La Última Asensión (2022) by Kevin Osepa, and was nominated for a Golden Calf for Best Leading Role for his performance in the short film Hobi (2025).

Etmon stars in the critically-acclaimed crime series Stanley H. (2019), directed by Tim Oliehoek and alongside Jeroen Spitzenberger. Continuing his success, Etmon was cast in the Dutch remake of NBC’s This Is Us, Dit Zijn Wij (2019-2020), directed by Marc de Cloe and André van Duren, he played the lead role of Ricardo in Bad Influencer (2019), starred in Forever Rich (2021) directed by Shady El-Hamus and co-starring Jonas Smulders and Crypto Boy (2023), another Shady El-Hamus’ Netflix feature.

His highly anticipated next feature, Stand Up (2026), had its international premiere at the Tribeca Festival in New York this year, with Kendrick in a key supporting role.

Kendrick also featured in the short Trauma Porn Club (2024), directed by Michael Middelkoop and in the second season of the multiple Dutch Academy Award winning series Bodem, written and directed by Eva Crutzen. Kendrick takes on the most prominent new role as love interest. He also portrays a leading role in the television series Rotown (2024), directed by Fadua El Akchaoui and in the third season of Dutch Netflix original comedy series Haantjes (2026).

Additionally, Kendrick played supporting roles in the Netflix film Ferry 2 (2024), De Break-up Club (2024), Land van Johan (2025) directed by Eddy Terstall and in the feature film PAAZ (2026), starring alongside Gaite Jansen and Jonas Smulders.

The Netherlands Film Festival jury wrote on his performance in Hobi: “This actor appears to effortlessly juggle his character’s sense of loss with an almost suffocating urgency. It is a remarkably charming yet refreshingly unpolished performance, one that continually keeps the door open to both humor and darkness.”

Kendrick played in numerous plays at Toneelgroep Oostpool, like the award-winning play Allemaal Mensen and All Over: Acts of Love.
