One of the Netherlands' emerging talents, Eliyha Altena gained international recognition with his breakout role as Daan in the Netflix hit series Knokke Off. Since making his screen debut at a young age, he has built an impressive career across film, television, theatre and voice acting.

Eliyha Altena began his acting career at the age of five with roles in the hit television series Voetbalvrouwen (2007-2010) and the acclaimed feature film Sonny Boy (2011). He soon went on to appear in several Dutch productions, including Joey's Eerste Bokswedstrijd (2012), Zomer in Zeeland (2018) and De Eindmusical (2018).
He gained international recognition as one of the lead characters in Nickelodeon's Hunter Street (2019-2021), following a leading role in De Ludwigs (2018-2019). Eliyha continued to build an impressive screen career with roles in Netflix's Misfit: The Series (2021), the feature film Silverstar (2022), Maud & Babs (2021), Zomer in Frankrijk (2023), Jippie No More (2023).
His big breakthrough came with the role of Daan in the internationally successful drama series Knokke Off, alongside Anna Drijver. The series became one of the most-streamed titles on VRT MAX in Belgium and ranked among Netflix's most-watched Dutch-language series worldwide. Following the success of the first two seasons, season three has now been released.
Most recently, Eliyha appeared in the feature film K3 en het Lied van de Zeemeermin (2024), de ZAPP Kerstclip: De Serie (2024) and the second season of Anoniem (2026).
Alongside his on-screen work, Eliyha has built an extensive theatre career, performing in major musical productions including Zorro, Waanzinnig Gedroomd and Amandla Mandela. As a singer, he reached the finals of the Dutch Junior Songfestival in 2015 and continues to develop his music, regularly working in the recording studio.
Eliyha is also an accomplished voice actor, lending his voice to Dutch versions of productions including Bibi & Tina, Zootopia, Avatar: The Last Airbender, PAW Patrol and Lost and Found. In addition, he appeared in the music video Wacht Op Mij by Trobi, Ronnie Flex and Tabitha in collaboration with Dance4Life.
Next, he will appear in the highly anticipated drama series Grand Hotel aan Zee, alongside Thekla Reuten and Daan Schuurmans. The series is the first Dutch romantic period drama and is set for release in 2026.
