Chris Peters is one of the most compelling actors of his generation. He will soon be seen in the leading role of BASTA(2026), a seven-part series directed by Remy van Heugten and filmed in the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland and Finland. The story of ‘San Marco’ marks an important milestone in his career.

Chris graduated from the Amsterdam University of the Arts in 2017 and made his breakthrough with the title role in Tonio (2016). On stage, he played the lead in the production of Turks Fruit (2018/2019).
He starred in Ik val niet, ik dans (2025), Nemesis (2024), Een moord kost meer levens (2023), De Poli (2023), Childhood Dreams (2023), Sleepers (2022), the Netflix Original Dirty Lines (2022) and Rampvlucht (2022).
On the big screen he appeared in Krazy House (2024) alongside Alicia Silverstone, Nick Frost and Gaite Jansen, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival. He also played one of the leads in Michiel van Erp’s Niemand in de stad (2018), a coming-of-age drama about three friends in Amsterdam that received critical acclaim. Other film credits include Open Seas (2018) and De Poel (2014).
